Pathey at the state level, has been computing the budget data when it is presented in the State Assembly, analyzing it in terms of the trend of allocation and expenditure over last few years, especially on the schemes and programmes for the poor people and the poor regions, based on this Pathey produces brief but comprehensive write-ups comprising budget data on each of the demands (of different departments and ministries) to be presented for discussion in the State Assembly, and we disseminate these write-ups one day before to all the

MLAs (Members of Legislative Assembly), for providing them relevant information, which could help them in understanding the budget.

Budget analysis and write ups also incorporate the information from the other independent sources, facts and figures, demographic, socio-economic and census data. Analyzing and working on these important factors has enabled better understanding of issues.
